So how do we plan to write? It's not an easy process, and it feels really tough when you're in at the deep end with a pile of rough notes, a couple of audio files, and some holey emails to work from...
Now's the time to take a breath, step back and get our final piece shaped out. If we know the end of our journey, then we can plan how to get there, and what we want to see at the view points. Once you have the plan, then you can find the right bits from the notes, and you can see clearly where you have gaps to address.

Ready? Now you can open the folder of notes, listen to the audio, and pick through the emails.

If you need to make a call or pop-up a quick question, make sure you know what and where the gaps are, who to call, and then get in touch with them. Don't be afraid to say if you are unclear on something - that is why you are asking an expert after all! If there's more than one expert, could it be the opportunity to present a great discussion on a key subject? Remember to keep the boxes ticked neatly for subject relevance and word flow. 

When you've finished, make sure you are double checking the 'i's and the 't's, and how the words are working. It's time to proof...
